Security guards and manned guarding across London and the M25

SIA Door Supervisor licensed officers supplied to work under your site rules. A full 5-year work and background check is carried out. A control room staffed 24 hours a day.

What a labour provider supplies, and what stays with you

Buying manned guarding from a labour provider means buying people, not a package. Aspire supplies the officer, licensed and vetted, from a company that is fully insured. You supply the site and its rules: the post, the hours, the access list, and the instructions that make one gatehouse different from another. That split is why this page does not promise a standard set of duties. The duties are yours to write.

The one thing that never moves to the client's side is the people. Aspire does not subcontract, so the officer on your site is not brought in from another security company.

Why Door Supervisor licences, and how to check one

Aspire's officers hold SIA Door Supervisor licences. The Door Supervisor licence covers the activities of the Security Guard licence and licensed-premises work as well, so an officer who holds it can be placed on a gatehouse, a reception, a yard, or a venue without a second licence.

Any SIA licence can be checked by number on the SIA public register; the check worth running is on the individual arriving for the first shift, not only on the company sending them. Company-level certification, including COP 119 for labour supply, is on the accreditations page.

Deployments

Where a static officer fits

Gatehouses and yards

Deliveries in, skips out, and a record of who was on site. On a construction site this is the day half of a day-officer, night-dog pattern.

Construction site security →

Receptions and offices

Access control and a visible presence for staff and visitors.

Residential blocks

A concierge-style post or a static presence during the hours a block has trouble, alongside patrol and key-holding options.

Property and block security →

Retail

Loss prevention on the shop floor, covered separately.

Retail security →

Vacant sites with a daytime need

Viewings, contractors, or a strip-out crew by day, with a dog unit at night.

Vacant property security →

Officers plus a dog unit

Where a site has people by day and nobody by night, a static officer covers the day and a dog unit covers the night, from the same company and the same control room. The officer is presence; the dog unit is detection, a handler and a general-purpose dog searching the site rather than watching it.

Aspire runs its dog section in-house, approximately 15 to 20 dog-and-handler teams, with handlers certified NASDU Level 2 GP and dog units operated to BS 8517. See K9 security dog units for how a unit works.

What we ask before quoting

  • •Where the site is
  • •The hours: the shift pattern, whether it runs seven days, and whether nights and weekends differ
  • •The reason: access control, theft, antisocial behaviour, a condition from an insurer or a landlord
  • •Whether post orders exist already, or still need writing
  • •Any uniform requirement for the post
  • •Whether your own security or facilities staff will be on site alongside the officer

Aspire describes its people as a strong, reliable team, and its differentiator is good client communication and response time.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Yes. Officers hold SIA Door Supervisor licences, which cover security guarding and licensed-premises work. Every licence has a number and can be checked on the SIA public register by anyone, so ask for the licence number of the officer placed on your site and check it yourself.
